Steve Kroes, Kenton Peterson, Dale Lloyd, Jordan Rivchun and Tim Schultz of PL Technology, combined their efforts to secure a major project that was 18 months in the making. Enterprise Holdings is deploying 40,000 Q series fixed and motorized cameras to monitor its rental locations and parking areas. Facing tough competition, we won in a shoot-out against Vivotek due to the price-to-performance ratio of these 5MP NDAA-compliant models (QND-8010R, QNO-8080R, QNV-8080R). The customer specifically called out the cameras’ back boxes for easy installation, WDR and low-light capabilities. Bart Krzywda and Dan Gonzalez from our PM team added their valuable support providing WAVE NVR configuration options.

Our LATAM Mexico team overcame FX rate challenges and a reverse auction to secure 24 months of Walmart business in Mexico. Ian Juarez led the team effort with Ana Coria working with the end user, integrator and distributor. Oscar Arrieta and the engineering solutions team in Mexico delivered invaluable support and put in countless hours of effort on this project, valued at $5 million. Congratulations to the team for securing this win.

Our Customer Service and Inside Sales teams are accustomed to customers pushing them to go the extra mile to fulfill orders. But for ADT recently, the group went a few feet further. ADT requested our XRN-1610SA (12TB) NVRs, which are built to spec and typically have a lead time of 7-10 days. The team overcame a challenging back-order and warehouse delays to deliver the requested models in a tight timeframe. This was a massive effort for a small order, but the impact of our response resonates widely within ADT circles. I would like to acknowledge Kathleen Ferrari, Angelina Rivera, Allen Seto and Laura Ascolese for continuing to elevate the HTA customer experience.

Our own Labib Labib recently put his technology expertise to use working with HQ on key enhancements to our P series AI cameras. His tireless technology guidance resulted in more accurate object detection, features extraction and people counting capabilities as well as improved performance and usability of the camera occupancy monitoring application and 3rd party VMS forensic search plugins. He also worked directly with customers to gain valuable feedback on their requirements, taking on every support issue through a new customer-centric blended QA process for AI development. Thank you Labib for adapting our solutions to meet customer requirements.

Due to your collective efforts, we are enjoying steady sales growth. One reason for our success is the outstanding effort of our KCC Chicago warehouse team. In April, KCC’s delivery volume hit 126,163 units (inbound) and 126,232 units (outbound). Both totals exceed last year’s volume by 70% and 76%, respectively. The April outbound delivery volume extended the all-time record. Despite a dramatic increase in work volume, this record-breaking performance was possible thanks to KCC’s responsible and fully committed employees who worked 24/7 until the goals were accomplished. None of this would have been possible without the tireless effort, commitment and leadership of Dongkeun “DK” Je.

S.J. Park and Ronald Kwon are leading a company-wide SAP modification project to improve our overall efficiency and deliver a better customer experience. With more than 12 new features, this upgrade will enable automatic inventory allocation with order classification based on a customer’s ship-to address, easier FOC budget management with the ability to generate usage reports through SAP, more accurate order tracking and the ability to automatically flag EOL orders.

Our Executive Business Center (EBC) is moving forward and is on target for a grand opening in the second half of this year. The 8,000 square-foot space will include training and conference rooms with full video and online capabilities, demo stations, kitchen/break area and more.
